Sankta Lucia

I attended the Scandinavian celebration, Sankta Lucia for my Christianity class. It was interesting to see a different cultures religious celebration. I liked learning about Sankta Lucia and how the holiday started. The speech was kind of long but I was surprisingly interested in it. Also, seeing the candles and the representatives of Sankta Lucia put me in more of the holiday spirit. I think it’s cool that our school holds different holiday celebrations.
